‘Mon chou fleur’ you said

The very sick me
I have been sick since last Saturday. I went to TKT, and walked straight to the ferry by the evening and taxi-danced for the night. I think I got a cold when I was on the ferry enjoying the ‘breeze’. I have been taking the pills for two days, and also been sleeping for two days, and now I feel much better. I wonder how kiwi can stand this. But he has been so sweet, when yesterday I told him that I was seriously sick and needed to have a rest, he stroked my face and my hair and then just let me sleep. I felt guilty again for not letting myself get sick, now I couldn’t spend the much needed ‘quality’ time with him. So after an afternoon nap (a long one, from 1 to 6pm), I took him out for an evening walk before we cooked. This morning I felt just a little headache, I thought I could stand it so I took kiwi out for a picnic. Ha, he kept hopping all the way there. And he fell asleep when we headed back. Now it’s Monday 2am, and I am now blogging while my printer is busy printing my freshly finished book draft.

Voila, the best seller!
Okay, the book has just been finished. The remaining job is to do a little proofreading and editing. I have been working so diligently on this that I could almost forget the distraction I used to have.

Here I am, the dancing queen
These weeks, I have been busy. Not only busy with my book, but also busy dancing. Despite I was sneaking away from ceroc,, I continued to do ballroom (my favourite vienna waltz). I also did a little freestyle performance and be a taxi dancer in the Pangea party last week, seems that everyone loved our dancing. Then on Thursday I went to the Ceroc night in Hyde without expecting to be a demo girl for the beginner class, but it was just fine for me; whenever it is with Breon I don’t actually need a rehearsal to do the beginner demo.

‘Mon chou fleur’, as you said
This Hyde night was better than the V-day’s night. For one thing, the intermediate class was not filled with non-intermediate men (oh, yea, at least one, but that didn’t interfere my mood too much). And the moves were just nice (no more ugly swimming-like thing). I danced with Margaret when I suddenly decided to make the move a split, and she was amazed. Haha, that amazed Katie and the demo man too; they let me do another demo for the split version, and we were so glad to do so. Then I moved on to my ceroc teacher, obviously he didn’t notice when kt told the others to watch my split version, so when I expected him to help me up after the split he kept his eyes wide-opened. On the other hand, Ben was very inspiring and he taught me another new move so that I could finish the split more elegantly. Well I must say that it’s just because ceroc is somewhat different from what I have been dancing, usually I can do it up by myself with a slight nudge.

Oh, one last thing, this little cauliflower is very confused now for 3 things.
1. I got texts.
2. I got a call from Canada.
3. I got bitten.
