Latin dance with THE latino tonight, two hours, three amalgamations. Shouldn't be too bad... except that this latino doesn't like to start the count at beat 2, doesn't care about footwork, doesn't remember the figures, keeps doing the BBasic after the FWBasic, leads me to the Alemana with a RF fw... well he knows latin dances, but he is doing the authentic latin dances, which is different from the standardized dances that I am working on... okay, shouldn't complain anymore, at least I have a practicing partner... somehow feel lucky that I am just doing private practices with him but not entering competitions or doing performance with him. Oh yeath, November, look forward to November, and December, and the coming April...
I should also mention the dance on Tue. That was the first time I went home so late! I am a well-known Cinderella who always gets home before the 12 strikes. Oh this time, I was still in LKF at midnight, dancing ceroc giving a lot of wow moves to the crowd. For me, the audiences are not the reason to dance, it's the guy whom I dance with. If I can have a good partner, I think I am going to dance through the night like the 12 dancing princesses. I was so happy that we did the Sentada and rumba drop at last. Next time, I would like to do Calesita, abrazo, inclinada, extreme lunge, profile line.
These days, I have been working on a new amalgamation. It's a nice one, if only I have a real partner to practice... poor me, I have an invisible man to practice with every time.
p.s. Looks like that I am the only one who doesn't like Salsa, and I am the only one who likes Ballroom. Why ballroom? Elegant!
