In the name of Oktoberfest... crazily dancing @ Crowne Plaza!

Away for some days- should be the last trip in the year of 2011. It wasn't so smooth the night I left... anyway I sneaked away at last. The accommodation I was staying at was so 'WONDERFUL' that I would not care to complain- after all that isn't my home. The next morning I served myself and kiwi a continental breakfast and went for the very 'IMPORTANT' SDRC.

Everyone knows that I am not at all a soccer fan; my presence was more like waving to the kids at the proper time and saying 'wow' when everybody else wowed- a typical case of physically present mentally absent. After a few hours of exposing myself in the lovely sunshine- and a few times sneaking away to check emails- I could finally get back. Kiwi was so tired that he fell asleep almost at once. During his nap time, I was eagerly working on the MM documents or I could foresee that the coming week would definitely be a busy one. I was told that my lunch hour was re-scheduled to nothing and I will be working 10 to 6 without a break.

When the midday sun was gone, we set off for our evening. We went to the SW and enjoyed ourselves there until late evening. There was a live band, there was music, there were people all around, and there were US dancing in the middle of the square! I hadn't danced in the public place for a long time- last time was in Covent Garden.

Today has been a relaxing day. I enjoyed the slow pace for this one single day, did the quick but healthy cooking, sunbathed a lot... I felt like the nz life had been back, but I knew that would only be an illusion- Tomorrow will be a normally busy day, again.
