Kiwi's 1st ceroc experience...

is WOW as he saw the lifts & drops which I seldom do with my partner; is FUN as he joined by climbing on our backs; is MAD as he and I were tossed up by ceroc men; is LOOSE as no neat footwork and precious positioning that he used to be reprimanded for not abling to commit.

He thinks I am a great dancer and he wants to be my partner; however, we have a lot of tough stretching and harsh practicing in our classroom, having been coached for 3 years, he feels like to quit. This feeling has intensified since he was chosen to join the School Dance Club. Not every one can join the Club so he should be rightfully proud of that... but now he is practicing three times a week at school. Dance practice has already encroached his recess (i.e. playing time or fun time), plus the twice-a-week Tae Kwun Do practice, he feels like he has no free time. When he said he didn't want to dance anymore, I was disappointed though I could completely understand.

BUT, I decided to just push him to dance regardless what he said. (what a tiger mum!) And that's why he is still dancing.

Today he saw that dancing could be not so rigorous and he told me he might like to ceroc me... Well, I hope this illusion can help him cope with our ballroom training, because I am not intended to release him from our floor.
