Flashmob

I joined a flashmob in LKF last night. That was my very first flashmob. Usually I prefer a grand floor, decent music & attire, and a properly trained partner; but the flashmob was on the street, which promised a rough surface, as we were in the heart of LKF it was pop music in a terrible speaker, and as we had pop music, I chose a backless top and my hot pants instead of nice dress.

Despite the fact that I don't quite like the floor and the music, I like seeing people crowd around and applaud. We did make something, in a song's time I was told that cameras kept chasing us; and when the music suddenly stopped and we scattered like nothing happened, I saw the disappointed big O shaped mouth. Our crew videoed us, I just wonder when will us be youtube-ed.

p.s. Ah, before we went for the flashmob, I had a little talk about self-consciousness with my partner. We both realized that we focused on the dance / dancing sphere more than on the surrounding environment, though he properly paid more attention to the audience than I did. We both think that it's needed to concentrate on the dance itself rather than on satisfying the watching eyes.

p.p.s. Ah, after dancing on the street, my shoe sores were quite in a bad shape. I knew I should not have worn proper dance shoes on the street but this pair had not be worn ever since I had my Ray Rose, storing them on the rack wouldn't make them more useful so I was thinking why not. I still brushed them this afternoon. Can you guess which one had just been brushed?
